Earlier on Jack Tretton CEO and president of Sony Entertainment America talked to a group of writers about the PSP. He mentioned the idea of a hardrive and how Sony has been considering it for quite some time. With the recent release of the video service it seems even more useful allowing users to store content directly on their PSP instead of redirecting it to a memory stick.
"I think we definitely thought about it," he said. "I think that’s the trend moving forward."
It seems like Sony is planing on adding this feature in some time down the road. How far down the road is uncertain.
