If you walk the streets of Japan these days it is a must that you have a PSP. With it being the dominant selling platform for the last number of months it really has got us wondering exactly how well the portable system has done. Well folks we got the numbers and Sony has released a press statement today annoucing that the PSP has sold 10 million units in Japan since launch. With these numbers coming out Sony hopes to expand futher increasing it’s capabilities. 

SCE will vigorously promote PSP as a new handheld entertainment system to enjoy a variety of digital entertainment content by enhancing network capabilities and interoperability with PLAYSTATION®3.
