Well, it seems that developer Apogee is working with 3DRealms, the original creators of Duke Nukem, as well as MachineWorks, to release 3 episodes on the PSP, as well as the DS. The three episodes will be titled Critical Mass, Chain Reaction, and Proving Ground.

If you’re worried if Duke’s automatic pistol, pipe bombs, ripper, freeze ray, shrink ray, or even if his mighty boots will be up to par, don’t worry about that. Apogee has made some classic games before on the PC, including Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, and Raptor. MachineWorks’ resume ain’t too shabby either.

So if you’re waiting for the next time for the babes to shake it, or if you have an urgent feeling to rip off the head of a big a** space alien and take a dump in its neck, then get those ’roids ready! As of now, it’s scheduled for a Summer of 2009 release.


(By the way, if you don’t get any of these references, play Duke Nukem 3D. It’s just as much of a classic as the original DooM games were, but more bad a**)
